Like every year, Combo Breaker is back in St. Charles, Illinois, USA, hosting this time over 19 different tournaments in the spread of a three-day weekend from 25th to the 27th of May. Last year was Nasr eSports’ first participation at Combo Breaker, with Sayed “Tekken Masters” Hashem competing in both Mortal Kombat XL as well as Injustice 2, the first premier event of the 2017 Injustice Pro Series season. While it ended greatly for our star player of the NRS Division, finally beating his archnemesis Sonic Fox in Mortal Kombat XL – a long-awaited rematch since the EVO 2016 Grand Finale – and winning first place, but also second place in the Injustice 2 tournament, kicking off our team’s conquest in the Injustice Pro Series.

This year, expect a bigger crowd from the Nasr eSports divisions, as Sayed “Tekken Masters” Hashem will be returning to defend his title in Mortal Kombat XL, but also compete alongside his teammate Baraa “SharkTeeth” Al-Jaadi in Injustice 2.

On the Street Fighter V division side, both our birds of prey will be hawking over Combo Breaker to snag some hard-earned Capcom Pro Tour points. With Adel “Big Bird” Annouche currently in 45th position in the global leaderboard, the Algerian player hopes to get a big chunk from the premier event, alongside his teammate Amjad “Angry Bird” Al Shalabi.

Here’s what to expect from the Nasr eSports team at the upcoming Combo Breaker 2018:
